JLPT Anyone?

Has anyone done the Japanese Learning Proficiency Test (JLPT) level 2 or 1? I have done level three last year and plan to do level 2 this year. Since I barely passed level 3, something like 53% Sad . Can anyone give some advice to me or anyone planning on doing the JLPT?
