ZONE is a JPop band started in Sapporo, Japan in 1999, who went on to become a hit in 2000 with their single Good Days. Their most famous song is Secret Base ~Kimi ga kureta mono~. ZONE is categorized in a new genre called the "bandol" (band + idol) and was started by Studio Runtime.
ZONE started off as Takayo plus seven other dancers, then was eventually reduced to four members. After becoming popular, the four girls learned to play their own instruments to complement their singing and dancing.
In late 2003, Takayo announced her departure from ZONE. She was replaced by Tomoka, the last member cut from the band before they made up the "original" four.
However, the band has disbanded since 31 March 2005. As 3 of the members would be graduating from high school, they made their decision on a positive disbanding rather than an upsetting disbanding. The reason for disbanding is so that the members can choose their own path in life. The Spring Tour in 2005 was their last performance together as a band, the final song being Secret Base ~Kimi ga Kureta Mono~.

Tomoka Nishimura (guitar, vocals)
Mizuho Saito (drums, vocals,leader)
Maiko Sakae (bass, vocals)
ZONE's music has been used in Astro Boy (Opening theme, True Blue) and the Japanese release of Ice Age (theme song, Hitoshizuku)

I hear about them constantly! I like Miyu Nagase ^__^ Her solo stuff is great : D I have Snowy Love. Her voice is awesome!!!!!!
I have only downloaded one song of ZONE and that's H.A.N.A.B.I. I really like the song it's those kinds of happy songs that I adore 
I don't know much about them so I'm glad you made this thread:) |

Sorry, but I only have two PVs on my computer because I have the DVDs. If you're looking for more, a good site to check out is the Clubbox of bacon. He/she (sorry) is a ZONE fan and there's a bunch of misc. performances and some PVs there (and also some Hello! Project stuff). He/she also uploaded the entire final concert, if you'd like to see that as well. It's updated pretty regularly. Anyway, here's the link:

I hope you're able to use Clubbox. It's entirely in Korean. If you don't already have it, I can go find a tutorial or something for you.
I have some other performances and ZONE related stuff, and I can upload that as well but most of it came from that Clubbox.  |

i really like zone, i have some of their music videos, my friends think they are good singers but they are ugly, i think they are kinda pretty,  i love zone, i wonder if they will ever get back together?? |

Then your friend must be the most handsome or pretty one in the world.
anyway,seem like there are many ZONE supporters in this forum,which is great to hear.to me,they are really cute unless ur friend is a blind one. |

I love ZONE. I was so sad when they broke up, but happy that it was a mutual and positive thing. I like the fact that every member sings, in just one person. My favorite songs are "H.A.N.A.B.I~kimi ga ita natsu", "boku no tegami", "sotsugyou", and "taiyou no kiss".
They are not ugly. When I first saw them, I didn't think they looked like the typical JPop stars, but they are not ugly. They look like everyday people, and that can be another reason that they are likable. |

I LOVE MIZUHO, she's hilarious! She brightens up my day.

If someone needs some special and rare stuffs, don't hesitate to ask me, I would be happy to share it with you all
I have all their video clips, songs, appearence in TV shows and concerts.
I see that lot of people love Mizuho the most, like me I also have the video of a TV show in which she sing ~Go~ She is so cute in it ^^
