I have both! ^^ I only use the microwave though. But my mommy uses the rice cooker, a lot!!! That's the great thing about being Japanese.  |

I have both in my rented basement. Microwave is required to reheat the overnight food  , and rice cooker makes rice for me everyday! Of course, I need to put rice and water into it myself.

| hehehe i have both, i only use the microwave 4 popcorn or to reheat something i kinda use the rice cooker alot!!! everyweek!!! lol, for some reason whenever we eat some kind of meat my family doesnt feel like a meal is complete without rice!lol |

Haha, i have both of them. I am living with family, so we cant live without these two thingy. Anyway, i have lotsa oven too, mainly becuz i love to bake some cakes n cookies.  |

| haha,there is a lot of funny question going on.i have both and i really used to using the microwave to heat all the things.just put it inside,adjust the time and wait.i often use it to make hotdog to eat which taste really great... |

yup! AYA6912 my family oso feel the same wihtout rice the meal is like incomplete i have beed eaiting rice since the i was born so im eating rice everdae! had to cook it myself! the rice cooker is indispensable cant live wihtout it and if i never eat rice i dun feel full rice make u full ! adn the microwave is just to heat things up! so mostly depend on rice cooker!! |

i have none
but i plan to get a rice cooker as part of my japanese friendly plan 
im not gonna get a microwave..its a mean device..those waves mutate innerly the food and appart from being bad for our health the stomache has a very lot of trouble absorbing it..there was an experiment andthey heated water then let it to cool..then watered a flower pot and instead of getting watered and stuff it withered some ~_~ |

I only have a microwave. I only recently knew what a rice cooker was...lol. When we cook rice (every god-given day  ) We just use this big pot and put the rice and water. Are you allowed to put stuff other than rice in the rice cooker? Because we put stuff like corn, chicken, beans, etc in the rice yummy~ I only like yellow rice, for the most part though. I think a rice cooker will be more convenient, right? Because you don't have to constantly check the rice and stir it so it doesn't get dry. My aunt makes the best arroz con pollo in the world. My mom's rice cooking sucks.

Actually when I was doing a Food and Nutrition course last yr...
there was this study...n they found that food loses 98% of nutrition after being microwaved! i was so shocked n relieved at the same time!
cuz i dunt hav one n i hardli use it...
occasionalli there's the microwave popcorn
which i put into a pot n pop it in the pop =P
am i very weird?
i realli do love popcorn! its my favourite snack!
and about 3 yrs ago my mom started going "organic"
n since then i fink that my life has changed 4 the better
since organic food has no pesticides, perservatives and other harmful things
hmm lemme think...
i fink hormones, food colouring...
there's so much things they add into the food that we buy
i feel more energized lol
try organic! its realli gud n besides...
even if it costs more in the long run...
the money goes towards ur health n what's better than being healthy?
