Ai channel has been quiet recently? What's happening? At the moment I'm the only one online. Where's everyone? Maybe we need to promote this site more? |

I'm online! and I'm lurking aorund here quite often these days, just not posting that much but always ready~
hmm, it happened before that there were some quiet weeks and so on...I don't think we have to worry too much!
I guess it's not that active cause many ch-ai'lians have to go to school again, since the holidays are over
there'll come times when everyone will be around more again
but of course, if you know a good way to promote the site, go ahead! we always welcome new nice members |

I go to uni everyday but can still spare sometimes (5-15 mins) to browse around. When i think about it again, it's so quiet that no post from spam bot exist lol.
Yeah I wish I knew how to promote this site.Maybe we need to get more member involved?how..?(*pondering*) Lol at least i tried to persuade my friends to listen to ai's musics. |

| Yeah, it might be hard to promote this site considering it is heavily artist orientated. If you weren't interested in Otsuka Ai, chances of you joining would be very low...but we can't change it from this either to some generic J-pop forum cos then it'd lose its identity! Maybe we should study marketing/advertising... |

No way. I'm absolutely against this forum changing to generic jpop forum. There are to many of these types of forums already. cmon think of something you should know a lot about that field since u study commerce. I studied a bit of accounting but i think it won't help in this case. |

Hehe commerce = accounting 1A, currently doing accounting 1B and microeconomics. Maybe we'd have to increase the demand for easily accessible Otsuka Ai information but thats about the limit of my commerce ability so far My friend is doing marketing as an elective though, I wonder if he knows anything
@Yunchen: lol I'm also always lurking around too! It's funny how the activity on this site fluctuates so much...it's most enjoyable when everyone's around though. |

lol if theres nothing new about Otsuka Ai, then no one goes online....as simple as that
i just pop-in once in a while, but I'm a bit busy (and lazy) with college (studying Business Administration)
and i sorta hate those jpop forums (even though I work as a mod for one...), it's just completely lame at times. Topics such as "WHO LISTENS TO *PUT ARTIST NAME HERE* ?" and " *PUT ARTIST NAME HERE* IS MY FAVOURITE <3 " .......so......there's nothing much to talk about.... |

hei!! I'm doing accounting 1b too as a free elective atm. Funnily enough, this is another coincidence.
So far what I can help with my commerce knowledge is only making journal entries, statement of cash flow, financial statement analysis. however it wouldn't help ai channel at all. We need marketing.
It makes me wonder how this forum experiences a big drop. i.e. Most users ever online was 413 on Mar 30, 2008 10:34 pm. now only 4 members online as I post this.
Btw, anyone knows which forum has the highest average online user? I like to lurk in whirlpool.net.au, its number of user online atm is 822.great... |

I think thats because eyn didn't clear out those logins, even though the real person is not on the site, it still shows their name and it will stay there for like a couple of hours or so |

Are talking about " Most users ever online was 413 on Mar 30, 2008 10:34 pm"? |

yes.......what else?
and if you want to know which forum has the most users....i would say bww2 or asian fanatics....
the site im working for, Aznmedia (or Nigihana....seriously wtf is that name...), it says:
"Most users ever online was 12,123, 06-10-2008 at 03:49 AM."
Currently Active Users: 140 (62 members and 78 guests)
not really a lot...
or if you have the guts, 4chan would be a nice imageboard |

wtf....12 thousand... That's an insane number. Is it true??
you opened my eyes.
I used to go to bww2 to find asian musics, though not anymore now. I used asianfanatic only to use its gallery. Not anymore...and it's my first time hearing 4chan. |

i dont study marketing either! im taking up accounting, economics, banking and finance and math&stats for my first year.
i think its because before the single is out, everyone is excited and anticipating single previews and news, so we'll check out this forum more than usual. Then as single is released, veryone is curious about how the single fare in the chart, and we give opinions on other tracks in the single. Moreover, there are TV performances to view as well. After that, when there is no/little news, we will not visit this forum, or people who visits this forum have nothing much to comment about..
Abit off topic: do you all think that TV performances for Kurage Nagareboshi are not as many compared to usual? And why they are using a different arrangement for this song? |

It's most likely your theory is true, I do think so as well. Question is how do we draw attention from users? I feel the same way, I lurk the forum and see whether there's any news I can comment, else otherwise.
off topic:
Ai only had 3 performance so far right? Maybe it's not as popular as the previous songs..but I feel kurage nagareboshi is the best song by far since love cook album. just my 2 cents. Regarding the arrangement, I don't know either. I love the one from the studio recording better. The performance seems lacking something. |
