Hi Channel-Ai. 
I've been gone for a while because of college, politics, family stuff, blar blar and I had nearly forgotten all about this place. I actually kind of fell away from Japanese pop almost entirely for a while.
A few minutes ago, I found LOVE PUNCH in my old CD collection and felt all nostalgic. It reminded me of my first year of studying Japanese, and well, this place. I'm assuming that half of the currently active members won't know who I am, so I felt that I should post a second intro.
I'm listening to 桃ノ花ビラ right now. It's as awesome as when I first started listening to her.
I don't know what has been happening with Channel-Ai, or indeed, Ai herself over the past six months, so if you guys could fill me in on the details, I'd appreciate it.  |

Hey! Welcome back davedim! Was wonderin' where you disappeared off to! For the last six months eh...she released...Kurage, Nagareboshi as her new single which was supposed to commemorate her 5th anniversary. Apparently its sales were supposed to be a flop but members love her new single anyway since it reminds everyone of either Kingyou Hanabi or Planetarium or both 
And Channel-Ai...it's fallen a lil bit quiet over the recent months (maybe cause you weren't here??  ) but normal activity resumes when the holidays appear. |

I've kind of noticed that. There hasn't really been much activity since I came back here. I mean, the Chat Room used to be like the most active subforum here and it has only had four posts since yesterday, half of which were mine. I really hope Channel-Ai picks up speed again soon. I miss this place.  |

tee-hee I got to chat with you a bit in the Election thread, but I didn't properly welcome you back so...

I hope we pick up some speed as well, but I can't say much as life has been dragging me away from the forum as well  But everyone's doing their best to pop in when they can so I guess that'll work for me |

Nah, it hasn't quite gone the way of Mint Forest just yet, and I'm sure that activity will pick up again by the time of her next release. The prospect of Channel Ai actually dying is kind of depressing though. |
