lol.. I know it's stated that PONPON has no meaning, but I find that every line has a meaning. I felt like I had to do this. I guess it's up to you to find out what it's all about...

The smell of the rain...
予感穴だらけの
予 [yo] - Beforehand

Aah!! Today just do your best
Well there it is!! geez that took a while. see, I knew every line had a meaning.
in this context, the PON, or the pound, is the sound she's making to herself as she's counting. In verses 1 and 2 the context is that she's looking back; so for example, it's like Everyday [each time I've been] with you and then the Ponpon is the counting she's doing. also, the "RU JI KA WO ME YU I MA" in the middle has no meaning, they're just sounds to make the song more random.
well that's it! hope it isn't so confusing!! |

no problem Daniel
actually I'll admit that I had to use some creative thinking there. that's what I think she's doing in the song based on the other things she said. if someone else did that then I'd think they'd get something different, so it's up to your imagination, really. |

So nice the way you translated this song Loved it
And I read once that the "RU JI KA WO ME YU I MA A" has a meaning
If you read it backwards, it will be "Amai yume wo kajiru" |
