I think they're two of the best songs on her album!
Although, i really like some of the spunkier ones too like, I Can do Better and One of Those Girls.
She's always been such a great singer!

I recently heard that Avril was being sued for copying music. Anybody know anything about that?
Cause, i never expected something like that from her, i mean, she seems all original, right?
It may just be a rumour.
Anybody know anything? |

| Apparently, some band from the 70's claimed that Avril's song "Girlfriend" ripped the lyrics and tune from their song "I Wanna Be Your Boyfriend". I personally don't think Avril would deliberately steal their work, though it's coincidental that both the tune and song titles are very similar in nature.. xD I think it's dumb. - -" |

I was just curious about this copy issue and did a little googling to find this.
After listening to the sample I must say they're not all that similar. Kinda like those stupid claim made by Ai-haters saying she copied her music from this and that artists.  Still, I'm not an Avril supporter, her music doesn't appeal to me that much.  |

Maybe the lyrics are a little similar, but the melody itself is pretty different.
Maybe they're just annoyed cause Avril is successful, while i've never heard of them.

Anyone here think that Avril's old albums were better? Don't get me wrong, The Best Damn Thing is great, but Under My Skin and Let Go seems more personal, like she was writing from her heart.
My favorite song would have to be Nobody's Home. |

| Avril is pretty notable....it got annoying when every girl in my school tried to be like her though. But yeah, her voice isn't bad. Her guitar playing doesn't really impress me, that probably IS just me, though. My brother has been playing guitar since he came dancing out of the womb, practically. He's 17 now and takes lessons from Neil Zaza, and we listen to Joe Satriani all the freaking time. |
