LOVE LETTER pretty good but LOVE PiECE album still the best album up to date for me  hmm, maybe it'll grow on me and i need to listen to it a lot more  |

Definitely agree with you there. 360 is just fantastic, and Ai is a very lovely song. But the whole album lacks that...quality you associate with what you call a 'blow me away' album. That's all  But it's really really good. |

every year, it seems, excite have a short-term display of video messages from various artists. here is Ai's one, with a message she holds up during the video. also another written message excite calls a "present". translations, anyone...?

LOVE LETTER has grown on me actually, it's got some upbeat songs I didn't really expect from Ai. 360* has to be my favourite, sounds like Kingyo Hanabi. Worth the download.  Maybe not better than LOVE PiECE but definitely acceptable. |

| LOVE LETTER has sold 150k after 3 weeks. This is pretty poor. It doesn't look like it will even match first week sales of LOVE PiECE which was already pretty poor. |

^ Oh really? What a same  But do you know how other artists' albums are faring? I just want to know if it's unpopular, or if economic issues are making all album sales plunge. |

Ouch, yeah I'm wondering the same thing as octocoffee if the sales of other artists are just as low.  It might also be the economic breakdown issue. For some reason, I'm thinking it might be the popularity unfortunately.  |

It's sad to hear Ai's album isn't doing good Overall I still enjoyed it  regardless of the sales |

The economic downturn wouldn't affect CD sales. At the end of the day CD sales are very little things... Other artists are selling really well, this year we had 4 albums become million sellers. (We almost had 5.)
Ai's sales have just really suffered a lot more after LOVE PiECE. |

All this sales issue is getting me worried ,
i hope all this won't bother Ai too much, and i hope her marketing team will come out with something great to give her sales a dramatic boost.

This is my favorite album after Neko ni Fuusen 
Are the sales just doing worse compared to her previous sales, or is it just a bad in general? |

The message is her resolution for the year 2009.
translation:
yoku asobi,
always having fun,
yoku manabi,
always learning,
yoku ro tai, (?)
Im not sure what ろたい actually means here
yoku tsukuri,
always creating,(I suppose composing music)
yoku warai,
always smiling,
yoku ikiru.
always lively.
As for the "present" Ive only got the romaji, I couldnt figure out the meaning..haha
suke tayo.
yoroku dayo.

In case writing japanese with a brush(especially ,new year letter)
Often, in a running style
1.The first charcter looks like "す"(su)
but thinking about turn of writing,
It means "あ"（A）
2.Yo "ro" ku dayo
The character above "く"(ku) looks one .
But ,two characters joined together : "ろ"(ro) and "し"(shi)
So This message means:
Aketayo.
Yoroshiku dayo
2009 da.
Translate:
New year comming.
I hope you will get along with me this year as well.
