I really don't like flying/running on air or whatever, the stuff introduced in Crouching Tiger and I don't remember if Hero did that too but I seem to think so. And I remember moments when the movie would show a really really densely packed flight of arrows...too dense to be humanly possible. But I liked the story. And most of the visual effects.

Great movie. Pretty much cause it has Tony Leung in it. Kidding. Although I love that guy. Which is sort of disturbing since he''s like older than my dad. But I love him like an icon. Anyway, Tony Leung did a fantastic job as Broken Sword. If anyone else was impressed with his performance, I'd recommend Infernal Affairs (the movie The Departed is based on) for a similar serious role and The Duke of Mount Deer if you'd like to see him years younger and in a completely different role.
Jet Li played his role excellently. I think it's one of the best in his career. The effects and colors were beautiful as well. Loved how they applied the appropriate color for each version of the story. Red, the color of passion, for the love mess between the three assassins and Broken Sword's disciple, for example. And white, the absence of all colors, to show the true story.
