hmm i keep wondering about other's DPs and i always think it's Selina from SHE!!  omg selina.. she's so nice... and hebe and ella... ahh.. oopz.. getting outta topic.. so yer.. i think ai looks like 80% of selina... what you guys think?? anyone else ai reminds you of?? |

i don't think ai is like selina
seline is a sassy girl
she sings great + looks great
but like Ai is another person
if u listen to her music more you will understand what i mean
she has a totally different style
punk(rebel style)
+goth(kuroge/dress in jam punch)
+sporty(sakuranbo)
+girly/feminine/seductive(kuroge)
+innocent(momo no hanbira/planetarium/neko ni fuusen)
her style is more varied
for hebe + selina its different...
im sorry but i think your interpretation of ai is very off

Perhaps you should include a picture of Selina for comparison. While I'm sure everyone here knows what Ai looks like, not everyone knows who Selina is. (Myself included.)  |

Well, I do think she looks like Selina when I'm very new to Ai-chin last time. See, the first PV I watched is Kingyo Hanabi and at that time, my first impression about Ai-chin is "this girl looks like Selina from S.H.E!". If you really wanna compare two of them, Ai-chin image in Kingyo Hanabi PV is the one you should use for comparison. 
I think they look alike when you're looking from the side. They both have long, silky and straight hair, and their face shape looks quite similar. Their eyes look similar at times, but Ai-chin is more like the crossover between single and double eyelid while Selina has double eyelid. Oh well, couldn't make much sense here, you get the idea.  Overall, I think Ai-chin looks better, honestly. She's the best! *fanboy mode*
As a sidenote, while voting, put your prejudice aside, nobody's gonna replace Ai, and I don't think we'll ever find someone who look 100% like her. We're looking for look-alike here, not a clone.  Somehow, I can't find the connection between the two while I used to, when I'm just a newbie fan.

Thank you for the pictures, eyn. I'd never heard of S.H.E or Selina before.
Hmm. I can see some similarities in their appearance, but I don't think they look all that much alike. I may be rather biased in saying this, but I think Ai is much prettier. |

Hmm my sentiments too i don't think they look that much alike... Ai-chan kinda have this very emotional, sometimes sad face usually and she looks kinda cold normally in contrast to her chirpy character... selina has a very different hairstyle(straight long blonded while Ai-chan is normally curled,nicely cropped) and also different looking eyes from Ai
If you're talking about looking alike... it's gotta be the kinda where they are hard to differentiate... if not i don't think they match what you called look alike
(Like all other posts, this post maybe Ai biased, selina is no where in anywhere like Ai ! ) |

..... Now that you bring it up, I do realize some resemblances...... both have very fair skin, long dyed hair, are cute... give off a cute charm..... but there also are noticable differences with the two artists..... for example. the shape of their faces is different......
They are both pretty though! |

I've never heard of S.H.E or Selina before either, but looking at those pictures.. I don't think they look alike at all ^^' Selina is also very pretty, but they don't look alike except the color of their hair maybe xD
And actually, I don't think I know anyone that really looks like Ai, she's very unique |

Well... they DO look alike in some angles but most of the time they're NOT...
They are too different and I think Ai sings better than Selina...  |

| ai-chan doesnt remind me of selina. they look abit similar but very minimal. ai-chan is more beautiful than her (no biasness, really!) selina usually wears her hair shoulder length while ai-chan has long hair. their voice are totally different too. alot of ppl say that selina is the most tom-boy of the 3 in SHE whereas ai-chan is more feminine/cute. these r a few of the differences i can think of at the moment. |

omg! Selina doesn't look like Ai at all...!!
Selina's face is so chubby, and i dun see the same what ever angle i look at Selina.
Ai is simply pretty much prettier than Selina; Selina is a bit too fat for me. |

from certain angle and afar, selina and ai do look alike. but i wouldn't say that ai reminds me of selina or vis versa (sp)
