"Oricon recently asked a thousand men and women which artist of the opposite sex they would sing karaoke to.
The top choice by men was Ai Otsuka, known for many lively hits such as "Sakuranbo." YUI ranked second, followed by a tie for third between Miyuki Nakajima and Ayaka, while aiko ranked fifth.
Women, on the other hand, favored KinKi Kids. The next most popular choices were L'Arc~en~Ciel, Porno Graffiti, Mr.Children, and Kobukuro."
i love singing Ai-chan's songs too! it makes me very happy to see that Ai is #1 and YUI is #2. |

ooh, I saw this on the blog: ~ listen the world ~
Thanks for posting it! (wonders why I didn't think to post it )
I'm glad that Ai is #1 and that ayaka is on the list too!
I like singing along to Ai's songs, especially ones like Frienger, but it's pretty difficult since the words go so fast and I don't know much Japanese |

| Haha, that's some awesome, random information to get. I can picture it now; happy Japanese business men singing their hearts out to Sakuranbo. What an awesome sight. |

Some men like singing Ai Otsuka worldwide too, I think I have seen a couple of Youtube videos of them singing one of her songs! That's a cool achievement for Ai! |

That's kind of hilarious! I mean, when I try to sing Ai's songs, I have a terrible time because they're so high pitched. I can't imagine some guy with a deep voice, trying to sing like that. |

It is karaoke, though! You're not always going to try to sing your best, just have fun. So I have a feeling some of those guys are singing in strange falsettos. |

| LOL. That is very amusing, considering I see quite a lot of Ai covers done by male fans on YouTube. But hmmm....wouldn't it be quite interesting to hear a male fan sing "PEACH", especially hitting that really high note "PEACH"? XD |

That's my top three GIRLS!!!
NO certain order...
AI OTSUKA
YUI
AYAKA
I wish KODA KUMI was up there! Then it would be perfect!
I would love to see a bunch of guys half drunk (possibly) sing her songs... it would be so KAWAII! That would be awesome!!! |

It's funny because in Best Artist 2007 they brought out these two guys in work-out clothing (I don't know who they were unfortunately because I cant read or understand Japanese) and they started singing Sakuranbo, it was quite funny
I would really love to sing some L'Arc~en~ciel though |

Really!? That's very hilarious. I'd like to walk in a kareoke bar in Japan and watch an old man lousy siinging skills singing to Ai-chan's songs. That would be funny. |

Haha, this is interesting since I remember YUI outranking her for some 'best girlfriend' thing awhile back.
Ai's songs are a lot of fun to sing, so....there shouldn't have even been a question |

| Haha, nice to see her ranked so highly. In fact, almost all the Japanese songs that i sing are from Ai. |
