I just realised that nobody seems to have mentioned that Ms Sakai is no longer with us in the world (nor is there a topic dedicated to her).
She passed away in May last year, and with her ended the legacy of ZARD.

I didn't make this new Topic to give a speech or anything.
Many artists have also passed away (the late Mr. Jackson springs to mind, RIP) but ZARD was special to me, and she deserves to be mentioned especially here at ChannelAi.

This forum has some of the kindest and most loving people I have ever seen gathered together at a single place on the internet.

Her work deserves some love and remembrance, if only by the few here who care enough to comment

I love most of her songs (of the ones I have heard), how she was able to compose a wide variety of great Rock tracks and touching Ballads, with that voice of hers.

Her English wasn't very good either, but she tried (and many times succeeded) in combining both languages into a melodious rhyme.

I want to say more, but I cant find the words.

ZARD will be missed. Sad
