Recently, I watched a 15-second CM of a wedding planning company on TV in Hong Kong. Originally, I thought that it is very good to see that Ai-Chin's charm is immersing in commercial products outside Japan. However, yesterday I found the full video of this CM on Youtube. OMG, the vocal, lyrics and arranger are not cited as Ai Otsuka or 愛 x Ikoman but some others else. The introduction of the song is 100% identical to Kimi ni Kaeru, where the melody of many other parts of the song is very similar to Kaerimichi.

Yep, it's absolutely adopt 「キミにカエル。」's melodies!
Anyway, this is good that 愛ちん's song can inspired an overseas CM. |

ha ha if you add it up I think it's more than 30 seconds, oh well at least they have good taste if not good sense. |

That's...kinda cool...it's like "KImi ni Kaeru." rearranged Chinese artists have been known to do this sort of thing, though. Remember Cyndi Wang's cover of "Momo no Hanabira"? Then again, that was more of a direct cover but this song may as well be... |

well, there's definitely a lot stolen there.
listening to it it irritates me when the melody changes, just because Ai-chan's is so much better, haha. clean off covers are okay (if of course you've got the rights), these kinds of trying-to-take-as-much-as-possible-without-getting-caught acts annoy me, though. |

そうだよ!
Though in the previous post, I said good that there are overseas CM adopt the melodies (I'm sorry), but after reconsidered it again, this fact also make me feel... |

^Well..it's not good that overseas CM adopt the melodies because it's illegal
This is terrible ..The intro is identical to Kimi ni Kaeru...I wonder why cinese artists always do this
Do you think Avex alredy knows this?? |

| It makes me sick how dead on the song is with Kimi ni Kaeru and Kaerimichi. I don't think avex has had enough exposure from this video and song to be notified about the plagiarism. |

@Rodri: I think the whole thing is identical to "Kimi ni Kaeru." I can't believe they'd just up and take the song without caring about whatever. |

^Not the whole thing...because it has also parts that sound like Kaerimichi xD
We should inform this to Avex by some way |

| ^ I don't think the video has gained enough attention to be considered by avex. But if anyone wants to take a stab at it, IKOMAN's email address is ilovemusic@musiic.jp. |

Well at least for Cyndi's case it was legal(she was under Avex, Taiwan that time), and on her MV and album, it was indicated there that the OT was 'Momo no Hanabira' by Otsuka Ai, and that composer and lyricist was both Ai as well. (They also gave credit to the chinese lyricist.)
But in this case the melody was different but the background music sounded so so so alike! I was so shocked the moment the song started playing.
作曲/Composer:King
作詞/Lyricist:阿芷
監製/Director:Terence Lee
編曲/Arranger:賴映彤
主唱/Singer:葉文輝(啤梨) 范萱蔚
I wonder if King has exactly the same frequency as Ai, because he is able to 'produce' the same music as her. |
