Here is the start of my translation of Drop. I am finding the lyrics a little difficult to understand, so I might be a bit slow  I have made it self learning, but, in order to try something different, and make it a bit faster, I have only included the important vocabulary, in plain form. Hopefully, this may help you distinguish particles and verb/adj endings  Anyway, I hope it helps
君の隣はとっても居心地がよくて
kimi no tonari wa tottemo ikogochi ga yokute
君[kimi]-you
隣[tonari]-next to
とても[totemo]-very
居心地[ikogochi]-comfortable
よい[yoi]-good
Being next to you feels comfortable.
甘くも優しくもあるの
amakutemo yasashikutemo aruno
甘い[amai]-sweet
優しい[yasashii]-kind
ある [aru]-to have (for an object)
And sweet, and kind.
君といる空気が溶けていく感じが
kimi to iru kuuki ga toketeiku kanji ga
いる[iru]-to be/have (for a person)
空気[kuuki]-air
溶ける[tokeru]-to melt
感じ[kanji]-feeling
The air around us gives me the feeling of melting;
何とも言えなくて好きよ
nantomo ienakute sukiyo
何とも[nantomo]-doesn't really translate, but 何とも言えない means "you never know"
言う[iu]-to say
好き[suki]-to like/love
There’s no telling how I love you
バカなトコが 嫌いで
bakana toko ga kirai de
バカな[bakana]-stupid
トコ[toko]-shortening of 所、ところ[tokoro]-place, often used in speech.
嫌い[kirai]-hate
I hate your stupid parts
Note that "parts" here should be taken to mean "characteristics"
バカなトコが 好きで
bakana toko ga suki de
好き[suki]-like
I love your stupid parts
変な感情 愛しくなっていく
henna kanjou itoshikunatteiku
変な[hen(na)]-strange
感情[kanjou]-feeling
愛しい[itoshi]-beloved
It’s a strange, not so dear, feeling
君の隣は とっても 居心地が 良くて
kimi no tonari wa tottemo ikogochi ga yokute
Being next to you feels comfortable.
ドキドキも 秘密であるの
dokidokimo himitsu de aruno
ドキドキ[dokidoki]-beat
秘密[himitsu]-secret

クセ[kuse]-habits (katakana for emphasis)
同じ[onaji]-same
色[iro]-colour
なる[naru]-become

Konna hi ga zutto tsudzukuno
こんな[konna]-like this
日[hi]-day
ずっと[zutto]-all the way
続く[tsudzuku]-continue

末永く[suenagaku]-forever
So let’s hold hands and walk forever

Sorry, rest is coming as soon as I finish these exams I have an oral exam on Thursday, and the rest at the end of the month. Sometime soon, I'll try to find some time to do the rest of this translation. Thanks for your patience   |

| Thanks a lot. Sorry about my lack of speed in translation. If you feel like doing something, can you find me the Japanese lyrics? Otherwise, I have to work them out by listening to the song, which can be slow at times. ANyway, thanks for your patience |

| Yay, finished I have added the rest to the first post. I don't understand the line with beds.., but that seems to me the best translation. I have listened to it quite a few times, and it still sounds like what I have written, so I don't know... Oh well, with singers, you never know what the lyrics will be... |

Thanks for the translation, enlightened0ne, they are as detailed and helpful as they always are.
The bed part is indeed quite confusing, but overall the lyrics of "drop." is quite simple and fun. |

As for as トコ meaning bed. That sounds strange to me as well. That is kind of an old word for bed, isnt it? I wouldnt think it would be used or used as katakana if it were. I am thinking that it is the shortened version of tokoro, meaning place. She hates and loves stupid places? Perhaps that makes more sense. What do you think?
As for the rest of your translation, it is very impressive. I am only a novice at Japanese, so there is no way for me to translate some of these strange phrases that I am unfamiliar with. This is very helpful in learning more difficult stuff. thx |

I think that you might be right. I will talk to a friend to see what she thinks, but your suggestion seems logical. The word "toko" (とこ、床) is normally used in words such as "bed-ridden" and "to go to bed." |
